How to setup call forwarding on a Yealink IP Phone

There are three ways to set up call forwarding within a Yealink IP phone.

• Always Forward: Forwards all incoming calls immediately. 

 Busy Forward: Forwards incoming calls when you are busy in a call. 

No Answer Forward: Forwards incoming calls when no one answers the calls.

Forward all calls on all lines

  • Navigate to Menu > Features > Call Forward.
  • In the Forward section, select Phone from the Mode option.
  • To enable it, just toggle the on/off feature within the desired forwarding type.
  • Enter the number to which you want to forward incoming calls in the contact field.
  • If you select the No Answer Forward option, select the desired ring time to wait before forwarding from the After Ring Time field.
  • Select Save.

Forward all calls on a specific line

  • Navigate to Menu > Features > Call Forward.
  • In the Forward section, select Custom from the Mode option.
  • Select the line from the Account drop down.
  • To enable it, just toggle the on/off feature within the desired forwarding type.
  • Enter the number to which you want to forward incoming calls in the contact field.
  • If you select the No Answer Forward option, select the desired ring time to wait before forwarding from the After Ring Time field.
  • Select Save.

Deactivate Call Forwarding

When you need to turn off call forwarding, do the following

  • Navigate to Menu > Features > Call Forward.
  • Within the Forward type, toggle the on/off option and set it to OFF.
  • Select Save.
