Easter Time of Day Routing (TODR)

This article describes how to add a new TODR rule that sets your incoming number to out of office for the Easter Bank Holidays on Friday, the 3rd of April and Monday the 6th of April 2026.

The following dates are public holidays in the United Kingdom during 2026:

Friday, 3rd April 2026

Monday, 6th April 2026

Monday, 4th May 2026

Monday, 25th May 2026

Monday, 31th August 2026

Friday, 25th December 2026

Monday, 28th December 2026 (subtitute day)

How to set TODR when your office is closed on the Easter weekend

In this example, we will set your Time of Day Routing (TODR) to 'out of office' on Friday, the 3rd of April and Monday the 6th of April 2026

The screenshot below illustrates our existing TODR rule for our working hours.

To add a new rule, first go to your Incoming Calls page, click the Time of Day Routing tab and click the +Add To button.

Using the Add A New Time of Day Routing Rule feature, enter or select the following values:

Setting Value
Start/End time Any time
Days of the Week Leave unselected
Days of the month 3, 6
Months of the year Apr
Order position 1
Calls in time range go to Out of Office Hours

Here is what your Add A New Time of Day Routing Rule form should look like:

Click Submit to save your new TODR rule.

The screenshot below shows our existing rules, with our new rule for the 3rd and 6th April at the top of the list - TODR rules are actioned sequentially in order, starting at Order 1.

If you have a complex TODR setup, generally, rules for one-off public holidays should always be placed above your regular working hours.
