How to set TODR when your office is closed on the Easter weekend

In this example, we will set your Time of Day Routing (TODR) to 'out of office' on Friday, 18th April and Monday, 21st April.

The screenshot below illustrates our existing TODR rule for our working hours.

To add a new rule, first go to your Incoming Calls page, click the Time of Day Routing tab and click the '+Add To' button.

Using the 'Add A New Time of Day Routing Rule' feature, enter or select the following values:

Setting Value
Start/End time Any time
Days of the Week Leave unselected
Days of the month 18, 21
Months of the year Apr
Order position 1
Calls in time range go to Out of Office Hours

Here is what your 'Add A New Time of Day Routing Rule' form should look like:

Click Submit to save your new TODR rule.

The screenshot below shows our existing rules, with our new rule for 18th and 21st April at the top of the list - TODR rules are actioned sequentially in order, starting at Order 1.

If you have a complex TODR setup, generally, rules for one-off public holidays should always be placed above your regular working hours.
