Time of day routing (TODR)

Time of day routing (TODR) lets you assign working hours and out of office hours to your incoming numbers. Doing so creates two separate dial plans, one for working hours and another for out of office hours. 

How to set up TODR

Using the left-hand menu, select Incoming Calls and then click the Time of Day Routing tab. Click Add To to create your first TODR rule. 

Common TODR examples

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm 

Select 09:00 and 17:00 as your  start and end times, respectively. 

For Days of the Week, click Weekdays Only 

For Days of the Month and Months of the Year, do not select anything. 

For Order Position, select 1. 

For Calls in Time Range Go To, select working hours. 

Working Hours: Monday-Thursday 9am to 5pm, Friday-Saturday 10am to 3pm

In this example, we need to create two rules, one for Monday to Thursday and a second for Friday to Saturday. 

Rule 1 - Monday to Thursday, 9am to 5pm

Select 09:00 and 17:00 as your  start and end times, respectively. 

For Days of the Week, select Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. 

For Days of the Month and Months of the Year, do not select anything. 

For  Order Position, select 1. 

For  Calls in Time Range Go To, select working hours. 

Rule 2 - Friday to Saturday, 10am to 3pm

Select 10:00 and 15:00 as your start and end times, respectively. 

For Days of the Week, select Friday and Saturday. 

For Days of the Month and Months of the Year, do not select anything. 

For  Order Position, select 1. 

For  Calls in Time Range Go To, select working hours.
