Factory reset a Yealink base station

Factory resetting IP equipment can sometimes clear troublesome issues. We recommend factory resetting any equipment that's causing issues as part of our initial troubleshooting process. 

Factory reset via phone UI

To reset the base station via the handset:

  1. Select Settings > System Settings > Base Reset
  2. Enter the system PIN (default: 0000) and then press the Done soft key.
  3. Highlight Reset to Factory, and then press the OK soft key. 
The resetting process may take a few minutes.

Factory reset via web UI

You can also reset the base from the web interface. 
Log into the phone and click on Settings > Upgrade, then click the Reset to Factory
