Pair a Yealink DECT handset to a Yealink Base Station

Set the base to registration mode

Hold down the button on the front of the base for a few seconds and the registration LED will slowly flash indicating the base is now in registration mode.

On the handset, select Registration > Register handset 

Choose your base and press OK

Enter your base station's PIN (default is 0000), then the handset will play a tone and display that it is subscribed. 

Log on to the base and check the assignment of the handset (see the image below).

By default, registration selects all lines Incoming and Outgoing for each handset which can potentially cause problems. Deselect everything except the first account Handset 1 & Line 1 (circled in the below image).  

You can also now go to Handset Name and give your handset a friendly name e.g. Front Desk

Pairing a second handset

To pair another handset you will need to enable Registration Mode again by pressing the button on the front of the base.

If you are pairing a second handset to the same account then you can select Handset 1, Handset 2 & Line 1 in Number Assignment.

If you are pairing a second handset with a second account, then select Handset 2 & Line 2 in Number Assignment. 

You can also now go to Handset Name and give your handset a friendly name e.g. Front Desk
