How to port a number to Packnet

Complete the Customer Letter of Authority (CLoA)

We host an interactive industry-agreed CLoA template here: https://mymetis.co.uk/porting

Our CLoA uses Adobe Sign to create a secure, e-signed agreement between you and Packnet initiating the porting process.

You are free to use your own CLoA delivery method (e.g. printed, signed and scanned) as long as you use the industry-agreed template.

Customer Letter of Authority FAQs

I have completed the form but you haven't got in touch

Usually, this is because the person who completed the CLoA has not confirmed the Adobe Sign request. Upon submission of the CLoA, you will receive an email from Adobe asking you to verify the e-signature - we receive your CLoA once this step is completed. If you are sure this has been done and we still haven't got in touch, contact us.

I have more than 1 Main Billing Number (MBN), how many CLoAs do I need?

1 CLoA per MBN is required.

What company do I put in the New Provider section?

If you are a Packnet partner, your customer can enter your company name. Otherwise, Packnet is fine.

What is the difference between 'Site address to register against numbers' and 'Customer's Company Details'?

These two addresses may differ.

Site address to register against numbers is the physical location of where the number(s) terminate or where calls are answered.

Customer's Company Details is whatever address is registered with your current communications provider.
