Manage Channel Call Rates
This article is relevant to resellers.
For Reseller accounts, there are three options available when managing call rates.
They are as follows:
- Update all call rates using the 'Rate Increase' percentage and apply that to one or multiple channels simultaneously.
- Update all call rates using the 'Rate Increase' percentage and apply that to one or multiple customer accounts simultaneously. Click here
- Manually update specific call rates and apply that to multiple channels, a single channel, multiple customers or a single customer account.
As always, first up, log in to Metis and select 'Pricing' from the left menu. Then select the tab 'Manage Channel Rates'
Manage one or multiple channel Call Rates using a 'Rate increase percentage'.
Enter the markup amount in the first box with the '%' symbol.
Select the channel accounts you are applying the call rate change. Use 'Select All' as required or click on individual accounts.
Once the changes have been applied, a confirmation message will be shown.
Click the Manage Channel Rates tab to see the percentage markup associated with each channel account.
Manually update specific call rates
Start by selecting the channel accounts you want the rate change to apply.
Next, use the rate search box to find rate destinations. In the example below, we will search for 'Vodafone'.
For UK destinations, update the Peak, Off Peak and Connection Charge values. To enter a peak call rate of twenty (20) pence per minute, enter '0.20'. Values can be entered up to a maximum of six decimal places.
For non-UK destinations, update the Peak and Connection Charge values. For example, to enter a peak call rate of twenty (20) pence per minute, enter '0.20'. Values can be entered up to a maximum of six decimal places.
Click 'Update all Manual Rates' to submit the changes.
Revert Manually updated call rate to use percentage increase
Select Call Rates from the left menu. Then select the Manage Channel Rates tab.
All manually updated call rates will be shown in the second half of the screen.
Use the 'Filter by Company' option to reduce the number of call rates shown.
To revert a call rate to a percentage markup, select 'No' from the 'Manually Updated' dropdown on each line.
