How to place a broadband order
The Metis ordering form is intuitive and easy to use.
The ordering process is more or less the same across all products;
- Availability Check
- Select broadband product
- Select provision type
- Select care level and IP address requirements
- Enter site contact details
- Select appointment requirements
- Submit your order
Availability check
An availability check is performed on a CLI or Post-Code to return the available products and speeds for that location. A CLI will always provide more accurate results, so we recommend using one whenever possible.
Using a CLI number
You can enter your CLI into the CLI field and submit it.
Using a postcode
Enter your postcode into the post-code field and click the search icon. Select the address from the list and submit.
Select broadband product
Following a successful availability check, select one of the available products and click Place Order.
Select provision type
Depending on your requirements, select from the range of provision types.
Select care level and IP address requirements
For more information about care levels, read our Care Level article.
Enter site contact details
The engineer will contact this person and phone number before they arrive at the site. A mobile number is preferable.
Select appointment requirements
New Provides always require an engineer visit to the site, however, it is optional for other provision types. For more information, read our article about Appointment Requirements.
If you need an appointment, select the Appointment Type and the preferred date and timeslot.
If you don't need an appointment, select an activation date.
Submit your order
Give the form a once-over, and when you are happy, click Submit to place your order. You can keep up to date with your order's progress by checking the Broadband Report. This is also where you will find your router credentials.
