How to place a broadband migration order

A broadband migration order allows you to move an existing circuit from one Internet service provider (ISP) to another. This is all done via the Broadband section within Metis. Before you place an order, you'll need some basic information about the existing connection. The caller ID and/or the address and postcode of the current connection.

Start by running an availability check via the Broadband order tab. You can check via either postcode or CLI. If you are moving and existing FTTC or ADSL service to either SOGEA or FTTP, use the CLI for the most accurate results.

Then choose the product you wish to migrate the service to and click 'Start order'.

On the next screen, you will be presented with a series of options.

First, select the migration option.

If you want to move the PSTN number associated with the existing service, select ' YES ' for Integrated number port. The last two digits of the existing line will be shown in the Provision Type section.

If you do not want to move the PSTN number associated with the existing service, select 'NO' for Integrated number port.

If you started this process by entering a CLI, you will be asked to confirm the address of the existing service. Then choose the required care level, number of ip addresses needed and the contact information for the end user.

Finally, to place the order click 'Place Order'
